The XX have been kind of off my radar for a bit. Their first album aw amazing, and i definitely listen to it on a more than regular basis. But since 2009, all we’ve really had is their self titled album, maybe a few remixes or whatever to pass the time, but we haven’t had an album, until NOW.

Today on The XX website, The video for one of the tracks off their new album, “Coexist”, called “Angels” was released (see below)

If you were able to get tickets to their Showbox show next Wednesday, consider yourself lucky. Those tickets are super sold out. I bet you’ll hear a decent amount of music off their new album.

Pre-order for “Coexist” started today, and the album is set to drop Sept. 11, 2012.
